Oriental Gardens

Kyoto Feng Shui Garden StructureA recent study trip to Kyoto in Japan re ensured me I have developed the background and experience to further my interest in the design and installation of Oriental styled gardens incorporating the Japanese placement garden model.

I see this model as an interpretation of styles incorporating Zen, Feng Shui and Japanese elements into a composition that offers connectiveness to nature and harmonious interaction with their users.

Kyto Garden - March 2008These are sensitive gardens that infuse connection between themselves and their viewer. Small areas treated as viewing gardens and ideal for entries, courtyards and contained places. Larger areas treated as stroll gardens where the viewer can enter, appreciate and connect with their surroundings.

I am more than happy to answer your questions, and can be contacted via email, or Tel. 0416 774 139. I also encourage you to read the many articles I've written to gain a further understanding of harmonious chi gardening specifically, and the potential of Feng Shui gardens in general.

Kyoto Garden

“Step softly
Tread gently
Taking in
Accepting
We in transition
To nature’s bounds
Energies unfolding
In their grasp
We connecting
And at peace
With our surroundings”
